Can you laser on Blonde hair?

Laser is not color blind; therefore, the hair follicle needs to be darker then the skin color. If there is no pigment then we will have no target. This is why its best not to wait to long to decide on getting laser treatments because laser cannot treat grey hair.

Can you laser after tanning?

Yes, I would recommend you wait 48 hours after a tanning bed and a week after a vacation. However, generally it is better if you are less tanned you would see for effective results as the light peneratrates directly into the follicle instead of melanin and follicle.

How many sessions do you need?

8 sessions. The first 3 sessions we recommend to treat every 4 weeks and the last 5 sessions we would recommend you treat every 6-8 weeks.

Is there any down time?

Most of our clients come during their lunch breaks with this being said there is slight redness but nothing you can cover with a little bit of make up or wait 20 minutes before going back to work.

Is it permanent?

Yes, laser gives between a 85-95% permanency. Results vary person to person depending on the individuals hormones, thyroid, medication, etc. Thick black hair gives the best results as thick hair absorbs the most heat therefore destroys the root quicker and more effectively.

Are packages transferable?

Yes, if you finish in less then 8 sessions then you can use the value of the remaining sessions on a different area. However, if you need more then 9 sessions then you will qualify for our touch up program. After 8 sessions you will only pay by time not by treatment. A 15 minute touch up is $30 dollars that for 1, 2, 3 areas or more as long as you received 8 sessions on that are you qualify!!

Can I wax or shave between sessions?

Waxing and tweezing is not advised as these methods remove the follicle which is the target. We need the target to give you the best results. You can however shave as many times as you like between treatments.

How does the SR rejuvenate my skin?

The SR uses gentle light and electric energies to restore skin to a more youthful state. Brown spots (pigmented imperfections) from sun damage and aging, red blotchiness from spider vessels or rosacea (vascular imperfections), and rough skin texture will improve over a treatment series.

Is treatment with the SR safe?

Treatment is very safe for the skin. There are many advances in the SR technology that make it unparalleled for skin safety, without compromising effectiveness for treatment. There are no long term health hazards from light or electric energies used in the SR. Both have been used for decades in medicine, surgery, and aesthetics without adversity.

What kind of results can I expect from SR treatment?

Each SR treatment will result in gradual lightening and improvement of pigmented and vascular imperfections. Textural improvements are appreciated towards the end of the treatment series.

How frequently do I need treatments?

Treatments are repeated every month for a total of 5 months.

Does the treatment hurt?

The sensation is often described as “hot pinch”, “snapping” feeling. The sensation only lasts for a fraction of a second, and you may feel warmth or tingling sensation for a short time afterword. Most people tolerate treatment without topical anesthetic, but individuals who are more sensitive may prefer to have the skin numbed before treatment.

What happens after each treatment?

Temporary pinkness in the skin lasts a very short time, and most people return to work or normal activities immediately after treatment. The improvement in pigmented and vascular irregularities can often be appreciated by the time you return for next treatment a month later. Brown spots temporarily go darker before they lighten.
